Harves is a manufacturer of special lubricants used in automobiles, electric instruments, electronics, optical equipment and office equipment. Our clients include major Japanese manufacturers of OA equipment, computer peripherals, automobile parts, and we also export to Asia, Europe and North America. Lubricants are mostly used to mitigate friction at contact points in devices, but it is important to meet various needs with different products and production processes. As performance of automobiles and other products improve, lubricants are also required to make technological advancement. It is no exaggeration to say that our products are supporting the quality of Japanese products behind the scenes. In addition, because lubricants are used in almost everything with movable parts, our business opportunity could be found with any business, meaning, we have infinite possibility for growth. Harves designs, researches, develops, manufactures and sells high performance lubricants to fulfill various needs of our customers. We are also proactive in new business development, and have actually spotted opportunity in "water" business. We source and sell natural sparkling water from Oku-aizu, Fukushima, as "Oku-aizu Kaneyama Natural Sparkling Water," and its sales is rapidly growing. The water was actually served to world leaders at G7 Ise-Shima summit in 2016. We found the next new business opportunity in cosmetics, where our aging care line and skin care products made with natural sparkling water are gaining popularity. In the pet business, which we further launched, we plan and sell special therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements for animals based on "nutritional therapy," an approach to maintaining health and improving conditions through nutritional management in veterinary medicine, and our products are used at veterinary hospitals nationwide.
