Message from the President

Responding to the demands of new technologies

HARVES Co., Ltd. was established in 1988 to manufacture and sell special lubricants. We released HI-LUBE (grease) that year and successfully developed DRYSURF (a dry membrane lubricant) in 1992. We continue to sell these products to this day.

Vehicle-mounted components (mechanical and electronic), office automation equipment (such as personal computers, printers, and copiers), audio-visual equipment (including CD and DVD players and video cameras), digital cameras, mobile phones, and other optical and mobile electronic equipment all have many movable parts that make sliding motions. As these devices become increasingly compact, motion becomes more complicated, even as demand for accuracy increases. Our HI-LUBE and DRYSURF lubricants have improved in step with the development of precision equipment and are indispensable in preventing friction leading to wear and tear of mechanical components and in maintaining microscopic motion and quality. These lubricants have earned an excellent reputation with our customers, which in turn has given us leading market shares.

HARVES achieved ISO 9001 certification in 2003 and is committed to combining sound product design and quality assurance with consideration for the environment. Along with ISO 14001 certification in 2005, the Company was also awarded Green Partner and Green Activity certificates by its customers. We see these awards as evidence that our customers recognize our dedication to developing lubricants that are compatible with environmental conservation. We also bottles and sells naturally carbonated water. We will continue contributing to a harmonious coexistence with nature, both in name and reality.

HARVES Co., Ltd. is a group of expert engineers specializing in lubricants. We combine outstanding engineering capabilities as we work together to create products for future generations and to meet the needs of the new technologies that you develop.

Tomonori Maeda,
Representative Director
